Misunderstandings and AI.

There is a new law in California that denies misleading marketing. That is important. In cases where new highly automatized automobiles are sold to regular customers, the misunderstanding causes terrible situations. If customers don't realize that the AI-controlled autopilot cannot drive independently. And humans must control the vehicle in city areas.

That thing can cause problems or accidents. So if the human just starts to sleep and lets autopilot handle situations, the result is a crash. When people are starting to use some AI-controlled tools or vehicles, they must get enough information about the real capacities of those systems.

Especially city areas are complicated for vehicles. There are millions of things that can happen suddenly. And programmers must notice all of those situations. If situations like balls come suddenly to the front of the vehicle not described to the program code, that causes a risky situation because if the AI doesn't recognize risks it's dangerous.

The difference between self-driving cars and Chat GPT-type artificial intelligence is that Chat GPT is a virtual product. If the Chat GPT makes something wrong that thing doesn't make physical damage. But if the AI-controlled car makes mistakes, that thing causes dramatic situations.

Making AI-controlled killer robots is easier than making an AI-controlled car that transfers people and merchandise from point A to point B. This is an interesting thing about robotics and AI. A destroyer is easier to create than something positive and creative. The fact is that most of the AI and robot programs are not serving the military. But the only thing that people are noticing are killer robots.

People notice negative things better than positive ones. When we think about Fritz Haber, chemist, and researcher. That man created the Haber-Bosch synthesis along with Carl Bosch. Haber-Bosch method means ammonia synthesis that allows the creation of synthetic fertilizers.

That method could save billions of people because it allows the growing of corn more effectively. But the same man has the nickname "father of chemical warfare". He created chemical weapons during WW1. But after WW1 that man earned a Nobel prize.

Same way, we see AI as a threat to humanity. But then we must ask what is the threat, that AI causes or forms? Is that threat the mass unemployment? Or is it something that we cannot even confess? Is that threat that we lost our position in other people's eyes? If robots are starting to make all the dirty work like cleaning and other low-paid jobs, we must ask ourselves, would we make those jobs?

Does AI take jobs from poor people? Or does it only take away the people from the workplaces to who we normally compare ourselves? That means that the lowest step from workplaces will be removed and replaced by using machines.

Can we return after death?

The model for cloning a person and then, transferring memories to the new body was originally for interstellar spaceflights. The idea was to increase the lifetime of the crew by cloning the crew. And then, transfer skills and other things, that they have to the new body. The main question is: are those clones the same people as their predecessors?

Highly advanced technical instruments with biotechnology make it possible to clone people. But is that cloned person the same as its ancestor? That is a big question. If we make a clone and try to transfer all memories to that new body, we are facing one interesting thing. The neural network in our brains is not advanced enough. And that means the difference between the number of neural connections between children and adults is big.

So we can say that the next body that the EEG gets is different than the first one. In this model, we are facing the idea that the memories stored in the EEG are the personality. And personality is the same thing as the person itself. But our experiences. Are modifying our personality. But the problem is that if we want to multiply the person, we must make a copy of the person's body.

And then transfer to memories that person has to that body. There we are meeting one problem. There is a large number of neurons in the human neural network.

There is also a large number of connections between those neurons. Those connections are making virtual neurons by connecting neurons in the human nervous system. And every single neuron handles one little memory unit. So making precise accurate copies of human memories require that all memories in the brain will copy. And transferred by using precise accuracy.

But the biggest problem is the brain's ability to receive information. The number of neurons and their ability to create virtual connections is limited. Making human clones is possible. Those clones are embryos so they advance like "normal" embryos.

Transferring memories to that new person requires that the person's nervous system is advanced enough. Theoretically, we can make a bio tank where those clones can advance and grow. The muscle-electric stimulation makes it possible to keep their muscles in good condition.

But if we would grow those people or clones we must keep them in that tank for tens of years. Making that kind of thing in real life requires that the team can create adult clones. And that thing is impossible or at least very difficult to make. That thing requires that cells can cleavage very fast. And keep their genetic structure the same.

The AI as an artist.

What is special about the painting above this text? The thing, that makes it so special is that the "painter" behind the image is the AI. AI is one of the most interesting and fastest-advancing tools in the world. The next-generation AI can be productive.

It can have virtual imagination. Which means it can interconnect existing datasets. AI is not as versatile as humans. But the AI can play chess better than humans or operate more effectively than humans in a certain area where the system needs a limited number of datasets.

The new area of AI is the new creative AI applications. AI as a painter is not a bad thing if the person wants to win things art like competitions. The AI can search for information on what kind of paintings people are willing to see. AI can use many tools for that purpose.

And the most effective is the wall where are images of famous or free paintings. Then the AI observes what images people will click larger. And then, the system can calculate how long people spend with some images. After that, the system can connect the components of the most liked paintings, and then make its version of that thing.

How accurate results the AI can get depends on the data sources. If the system has access to the user's web camera and it can make them use microphones. And make them comment on those images so the AI can search for the changes in the voice. And especially where the person looks for see where the person looks at. And then the system can interconnect those most pleasing objects into one work.

AI can make better work applications than humans. In this case, the system must only see what kind of things please the consultant.

Creative AI is an effective tool. It can make paintings and drawings by using a certain limited dataset. And that kind of tool can make it possible to cheat people who elect people to the workplace. Labor consultants are people who are reading many job applications in a day. So if the AI has access to the computer of the employment service the AI can search what kind of applications those consultants are open to most, and how much time they spend with the application.

And then how many of those job applications are bringing interviews? Then the AI can search for components that please the consultant. And after that. The AI can render the image to please the consultant and then collect the components for an application. That should bring the interview. The applicant must just give parameters for the AI like what are the strengths and skills that the applicant has. And the AI modified those things and photographs into nice-looking applications.

The new devices are traveling in deep oceans.

The problem with small robots that patrol the ocean and measure pollution and other things is their power source. Nuclear power or RTG (plutonium batteries)  is a powerful tool. But those things are dangerous in the wrong hands. Things like nuclear submarines could load electricity to the photovoltaic cells of those machines by using lasers. But the problem is that navy might want to use their nuclear-powered submarines for many other purposes.

The new algae-powered soft devices can be fundamental in the research of independently operating nano- and miniature machines. One of the biggest problems with independently operating nanomachines is the power source. The system can use synthetic, lab-grown muscle cells.

They are connected to tiny electric wires. And nanotechnical microchips are not using very much energy. The problem is how to make those tiny machines operate in deep dark places.

And one of the solutions is to use bioluminescence. In that case, the miniaturized microchips get their energy from the small photovoltaic cells. They are getting light from living bioluminescence cells. And also if lab-grown neurons are connecting with the microchips. They are increasing the power of those systems. The nanotechnical microchips don't need very much energy. And the thing that requires electricity in those half-biological robots is the control system. The living cells need only nutrients.

Also, things like piezo-electric and thermo-electric crystals can give electricity to small machines. In those cases the main system gets its electricity from crystals that are stressed by using sonar signals or the heat from muscle cells can use for that thing. Living tissue can use normal nutrients.

By the way...

Bigger robots like small ball-shaped quadcopters can also patrol the ocean and use green energy. In that kind of system, the robot can use solar power. When the batteries of those systems end while the robot operates in the sea it can simply rise to the surface. And the robot can wait until the sun loads its batteries.

Then the system can send a GPS signal to a satellite that tells the communication system and command center that their robot is ready for action. The system can store data in the flash memory and send it to the command center. But there is a possibility that the system just uses a vertical tube into the ocean. And then the capillary effect puts the small generator to rotate.

Which one is better F-35 or the Su-57?

F-35 Lightning II

The thing is that the development of new concepts is not a very easy mission. At least, if that concept travels over Mach 2. The problem with jet fighters or multi-role jet fighters is that they are much more than some aerodynamic bodies. Things like computers, computer programs, and other kinds of things must operate in a very highly complicated entirety.

If there are some kind of errors in those systems and their cooperation. That thing can cause destruction. The artificial intelligence that controls weapon systems and avionics should make these kinds of things more complicated than ever before.

In manned aircraft, artificial intelligence can deny the aircraft touch ground in low-level flight. The radar- or lidar-based altimeter, along with the AI-boosted computer keeps the aircraft over the ground. If the flight altitude is only a couple of meters. So the AI fixes errors that the pilot can make. It can detect incoming missiles and start counter-actions if the pilot doesn't notice them.

When we think of the Su-57, it can be very capable against old fashion jetfighters like F-16, Panavia Tornado, or F/A-18. But the thing is that those old-fashion-looking aircraft can also have updates like AI-based avionics or fire control.

The reality is that capacity of the Su-57 will be seen only when it faces some jet fighter in air combat. And another thing that means in those situations is the pilot's skills and also how the jetfighter can operate with its support teams like air defense.

Su-57

"Black Swan" in air combat. When extremely extraordinary situations give wrong signals.

When we look at history. The first British aircraft that dropped Messerschmitt Bf-109 in air combat was the Fairey Battle. The Fairey Battle was not a very big success. And maybe that was the only case when that aircraft dropped another aircraft.

The detail of that case was that the rear-gunner of Fairey Battle dropped that Messerschmitt. But that victory was the first RAF air victory in WWII. If we look only at that case we might believe that Fairey Battle was a good combat aircraft. It was not a good plane at all. It served as a training aircraft and target tug in WWII.

If we want to compare that case with something ordinary we can take a case where the goalkeeper of the ice-hockey team makes the goal. We always remember that kind of goal because they are extraordinary.  We don't even remember, was that team won or lose that match, or who made other goals. Those other goals are ordinary things. But that only goal that the goalkeeper made is what we remember. And the reason for that is that goal was extraordinary.

Fairey Battle had been withdrawn from service in 1940. But that case shows that we should not make generalizations by using one example. That means that the "Black Swans" or extremely good luck can give false signals from the aircraft's capacities or some other equipment.

There are billions of things that can go wrong in combat between two aircraft. The pilot can simply make mistakes and fly straight to the front of other aircraft or impact the ground. Or some hydraulic tubes can come off. Because somebody forgot tight the connector.

Time machine and the mechanics behind it.

Time travel to the future is quite a simple thing. We must just accelerate the object to the speed of light. And that thing stops time. So how to travel backward in time? One version is simple. The speed just stops the time in a capsule and waits until the sun erupts as a nova. That energy tsunami will send that hypothetical time machine back in time.

Another way to make an energy tsunami is to make the craft travel at about 99% of the speed of light. And then detonate antimaterial inside it. That system can increase the energy level of the craft to the level that it virtually crosses the speed of light.

In some visions, saucer-shaped craft would have a particle accelerator on its edge. Then the speed of those particles will reach the speed of light the antimatter annihilation will increase the energy level of that craft to the level that it virtually crosses the speed of light. And that thing causes the opposite time dilaton.

The idea of the famous time machine of H.G Wells is a very simple thing. The rotating plate causes time dilation in the system. And then the time machine can go forward in time. When we are thinking about the system that will rotate at about 90-99% of the speed of light, that system can almost stop time inside it. So how to put the time machine traveling back in time?

If our theoretical time traveler can stop time in the time machine that person can simply wait until the Sun is grown into a red giant. And finally when the Sun will erupt as nova the energy tsunami that comes from the star will push the time machine back in time.

Above is the train to the future. Theoretically is possible to make the hyper-loop type train that travels in vacuum. The train will accelerate to the speed of light by using magnetic track. So the system is like particle acceleator.

That kind of system could make train travel so fast that time inside it stops. To return to the past, the system must just create a situation where the train will virtually cross the speed of light.

When it's time to travel back in time the system injects antimatter and material inside the chamber that is inside the train. That increases its energy to a level that the train starts to travel backward in time.

There is the possibility, that our hypothetical time traveler could stop time in the machine by using two-way rotating plasma fields where the sum of the speeds of those plasma fields is higher than the speed of light. And that kind of thing allows traveling back in time by crossing the speed of light virtually.

That thing is possible to make the Tipler cylinder which is multiple layers. When the cylinder's speed is near the speed of light the plasma starts to rotate between those layers. It can make it possible to travel back in time.

Same way, we could make the spacecraft travel speed that is as close to the speed of light as possible. If the craft's speed is about 99% of the speed of light, that system can fly through the laser or radio waves that increase its energy so high that it turns into a black hole.

Or it starts to travel back in time. Time travel base is on the idea of time dilation that is proven. If the object's speed is the same as the speed of light that thing stops time. And then if particles cross the speed of light. That thing means time starts to travel backward.

The speed of light is crossed every day. The reason for the blue sky is Cherenkov's radiation. Cherenkov's radiation forms when particles that come from outer space with the speed of light slow their speed when it arrives in the medium. The speed of light is higher in a vacuum than in a medium.

And when a particle hits the atmosphere. It releases its energy in form of radiation. During small moments the particle travels faster than the speed of light. The reason for that is: that anything that has mass cannot slow with unlimited speed. So during the slowing time particle sends radiation. And things like neutrino sensors are using the same method.

The new sensors benefit information about living organs and quantum technology.

Researchers found near atomic-scale detail in the mechanism of hearing.

Researchers found near atomic-scale detail in the mechanism of hearing. This allows us to create new types of sensors. Which are suitable for robots. Those systems make it possible to connect the microchips to the sensors of some animals. And those systems can send data on how those animals see and hear things.

Knowledge of some senses and their interaction with the neural system is an important thing. The problem with small-size sensors and biological sensors is solving how the sensor interacts with electric systems.

If researchers can someday build an artificial ear that works in the same way,  as the real ear by using similar biological systems. They can make new types of observations about noise. By using real ears. Researchers can test how disturbing or painful some noise is. But those systems can also connect with robots.

The new quantum sensors are making a revolution in science.

Researchers manipulated light on the nanoscale. And that works as a pathfinder for new type 3D screens and VR systems. This also makes it possible to create new scanners that can scan nanometer-scale structures. And that thing can be useful in the new nanomachines.

But the ability to manipulate light in the nanoscale makes it possible to create a new type of sensor. If we think about the 100% reflecting mirrors and nano-size laser rays we could create a new version of the telescope, that observes gravitational waves. That kind of telescope might have a honeycomb structure where the extremely thin laser ray is jumping from the walls.

And that thing makes it possible to create a laser ray that length is the same as the Ligo sensor, but the package can be more compact. The new type of gravitational sensor could be the cube where laser ray jumps between walls. If that kind of thing can be possible. The gravitational waves can benefit easier. Those waves can give information about things that are happening inside neutron stars and black holes.

In those sensors, the quantum entanglements can make the things like laser rays.  Those systems can get an accuracy That is higher than ever before. Quantum entanglement acts like a laser ray. When energy hits it the sensor detects that change.

The new quantum sensors can also replace the GPS. Those quantum sensors can be next-generation navigation tools. Those quantum navigation tools are still under research.

The idea of those systems can be seen in image 2. There is a network of quantum transmitters at certain points on Earth, and the system detects the position of those transmitters. There is the possibility that the Earth's magnetic fields are unique a certain points on Earth. That thing can detect by ultra-accurate sensors.
